More than 15 years ago, PR veteran Rebecca Seelig departed The PGA of America to establish Palm Beach Public Relations (PBPR), a boutique public relations firm headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. PBPR assists organizations in creating and implementing communication plans for a whole company or for one specific event. PBPR's services include: communication plan development, media relations, news release creation and distribution to traditional and non-traditional mediums, pitching stories and by-lined articles, website layout design, press kit development, creation of message and speaking points, special event coordination and more.

Seelig, APR

PBPR relies on Ms. Seelig’s experience which includes over a decade of media and public relations practice. Ms. Seelig spent over nine years at The PGA of America in their communications department managing the promotion of PGA Professionals and communication of their major Championships, which included the PGA Championship and the Ryder Cup. Ms. Seelig is a fifteen-year sports industry veteran who in addition to working with The PGA of America, worked with the Florida Marlins Baseball Club, Orange Bowl Committee and University of Florida Athletic Association.

In addition, Ms. Seelig is only one of a few public relations practitioners in the nation to achieve accreditation in public relations (APR) through the Public Relations Society of America. Not only is Ms. Seelig a member of the Public Relations Society of America, she belongs to the Golf Writers Association of America and the Junior League of the Palm Beaches. Ms. Seelig also sits on the board for the Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness and serves as the PR Chair for SunFest.
